David Dallas – "Slow Down"
In between my internet going in and out, the homie Che dropped off some new David Dallas in my GMail inbox (||). In case you’re not familiar with Double D,I co-signed him a few weeks back and have been receiving new music from Che and David constantly since. Not that my approval holds much weight in the music world, but hopefully you’ve been checking the music out.
As I said before, my fondness for international rappers runs thin for a variety of reasons. However, Dallas sets himself apart from the pack with dope production and even sicker lyrics. “Slow Down” finds Dallas expressing his introspective side over a slow-tempo Fire & Ice instrumental. The New Zealand native looks to invade the States later this year, so whenever performance dates become available, rest assure they will be posted.
David’s album, Something Awesome, will be hitting iTunes next Monday, August 31. Support the music.
