Atlanta-based artist Dose is set to release his debut mixtape, The OverDose, to follow-up on the success of his bubbling single, “Where They Do That At (remix, feat. Rick Ross & Fabolous).” The OverDose will focus on Dose’s ability to excel in not only making catchy hooks, but displaying a lyrical versatility not seen in the South since T.I.’s prime.

"Civilized Talk" finds us at a funeral service. A joyous and upbeat one at that. After weeks of push backs, 11th hour recordings and a few back and forth squabbles with DJ Drama on Twitter, their highly anticipated mixtape, There Is No Competition 2.

DJ Folk, DJ Got Now & Lil' Boosie – "The 25th Hour" (Mixtape)

Before starting his four year bid, Boosie promised to keep his fans satisfied with new material, specifically in the form of mixtapes. Thanks in part to the homies DJ Folk & DJ Got Now, we now have the highly anticipated memoir from the Trill Ent. front man. Lyrics of pain, pride and joy spew all over this tape and you, the listener, get a glimpse of what was going through Boosie’s mind only days before his earlier-than-expected prison sentence was to begin.

While features from Bun B, Yo Gotti, Hurricane Chris and others are sprinkled throughout this 30 track project, the majority of the tape finds Boosie riding solo. Just how it should be. If you’re a fan of Boosie, adding this to your collection should be a no brainer. If you’re just getting coming around to his talent, however, consider this a more than suitable introduction.

Without further adieu, tracklist and link after the jump.
