Atlanta-based artist Dose is set to release his debut mixtape, The OverDose, to follow-up on the success of his bubbling single, “Where They Do That At (remix, feat. Rick Ross & Fabolous).” The OverDose will focus on Dose’s ability to excel in not only making catchy hooks, but displaying a lyrical versatility not seen in the South since T.I.’s prime.

"Civilized Talk" finds us at a funeral service. A joyous and upbeat one at that. After weeks of push backs, 11th hour recordings and a few back and forth squabbles with DJ Drama on Twitter, their highly anticipated mixtape, There Is No Competition 2.

Marsha Ambrosius – "Doesn't Matter To Me"

As I  anxiously wait for the inevitable “food’s ready!” announcement (and the Cowboys game), I figured I’d pass the time by doing this. Marsha Ambrosius is by far one of the most talented artists in the world, at least in my book.  Any and everything she jumps on I feel it is my civic duty to obtain it and if she ever decides to release a solo album, best believe I’ll be in Best Buy that Tuesday to support.

Her voice has always been sensual, exotic and introspective at the same time. Lord knows every time she hops on a hook it instantly increases the quality of the song by at least five notches. “Don’t Matter To Me” is an intimate record from Miss Marsha and should eventually have a solid place on any R&B playlist. While I’m unsure what project this will be found on, Marsha’s soothing vocals and infectious beat by Oak & Maddscientist should certainly have this on repeat for awhile as the former Floetry member pleads her case as to why her love is, in essence, second to none.

I’m sure you’ve received 30 different mass text messages, but I can’t go without saying Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
