"Friday: The Animated Series"

Everyone knows “Friday” is a cultural classic. Classic catchphrases, Cube‘s shining theatrical moment aside from “Boyz N The Hood” (he’s a good actor) and exposing America’s infatuation with marijuana, you name and “Friday” probably did it. Well, the DVD is in stores now. No, not the movie, but the cartoon.

Craig and Smokey are back at it! Enjoy every outrageous episode with the continuing misadventures of the dynamic duo in the hilarious Friday: The Complete Animated Series, based on Ice Cube’s successful Friday film series. In their own unique way, Craig and Smokey are still struggling to survive family, friends and life in South Central L.A. with Deebo; Craig’s dad, Mr Jones; and many of the other characters you grew to love in the Friday movies. You’ll bust a gut laughing with Friday: The Complete Animate Series.

I always heard they were making one last installment to the “Friday” series which would feature all of the classic characters including Chris Tucker. From the looks of things, it looks like that’ll hit theaters the same day Detox hits shelves.
