Brittany Murphy, 32, Dies of Cardiac Arrest

As I said the other day with the passing of Chris Henry, a death during the holidays may be one of the hardest experiences to death with. Earlier this morning, 32-year-old actress Brittany Murphy died suddenly. According to TMZ:

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We’re told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Many will remember her from her role alongside Eminem in “8 Mile.” However, it was her role in the 1995 film “Clueluss” which will serve as her most memorable role. Prayers go out to her family and everyone who has lost a loved one this year. 2010 can’t come quick enough.
