UNDRCRWN "Assist Haiti" T- Shirt

 

How much devastation can one group of individuals endure? When will their pain and suffering subside when all they know is hurt. It seems Haiti cannot catch a break. This morning the island was struck again with another earthquake. Registering as a 6.1 on the Richter scale, the earthquake while strong did not cause any known damage. Last week , Haiti was decimated by a 7.0 earthquake which split the ground, crumbled buildings, left 200,000 dead , and thousand others injured or missing. With over a million people now homeless all hope seems loss as looters destroy what is left of the once marvelous and historic city, Port-Au-Prince.

However where there is despair and uncertainty there is also optimism and love. Joining the world’s efforts to help the people of Haiti, clothing merchandiser UNDRCRWN has stepped up to the plate. Starting today,   will be selling  “Assist Haiti” T-shirts for the Haiti Relief Effort. Retailing at $20.00, all proceeds made will be donated to YELE HAITI, singer and producer Wyclef Jean charity organization. Not stopping there,  UNDRCRWN has agreed to donate 5% of its web sales from January 20 to January 27 to the organization.

While YELE as well as its founder have come under firing after allegations arose regarding its expense reports, do not let this discourage you from donating. There are many different ways to donate money, food, or clothing. Please find your nearest Red Cross or Haitian Missionary and give what you can.

This is a one of many organizations making a effort to help those in need. This Friday actor George Clooney and a slew of his A-lister friends will be doing a teleathon on MTV networks top raise money for Haiti.
