Rick Ross feat. Lil Wayne & Birdman – "Veteran's Day"

Rick Ross’s third official album,Teflon Don, is already shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated. The second official leak is “Veteran’s Day,” a hard hitting slow tempo track featuring Lil Wayne and Birdman. Something, however, leads me to believe this track was meant to hung on to a tad longer with Birdman looking towards the future…

“Junior doin’ time, kickin’ up his feet…”

It’s the internet and stuff like this tends to happen. Regardless, Ross damn near flawless with every track he’s been on so far in 2010. Believe what you want, but he really does tout one of the best flows in the game.

Also, this has been floating around the past few days, but here is some info on The Bawse’s first single, “Sweet Life,” featuring John Legend.

“It’s a lot of Internet, a lot of online chatter going on — a lot of talk of this new Rick Ross/ John Legend collaboration,” Ross said. “I’m confirming it. It’s official. We got another record. … Ah man, I don’t know how to describe this one. ‘Magnificent’ was one of my favorite records off Deeper Than Rap. But the new John Legend [collaboration] is most definitely next-level vibe. We back at it. It’s most definitely creative. Shout-out to John Legend — I think he makes a huge contribution to music. Myself, I try to get better and better with every rhyme I make — every rhyme I bring to the table, I want to make sure it’s more potent than the last. I’m setting this album, Teflon Don, to be the album of my career.

Don’t expect to see it for awhile, however.
