B.o.B. feat. Bruno Mars & Big Boi – "Nothin' On You (remix)"
With the deal confirmed and the reunion with L.A. Reid set in stone, this means Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty will see the light of day. And we can all be thankful for that. Until then, this won’t stop Big Boi from releasing new music. This time around he jumps on the track which, in my eyes, is the perfect anthem heading into second and third quarters of 2K10.
All in all, a nice verse from Big compliments the original vibe and feel of the song. Since Bobby Ray has drawn comparisons from to that guy who occasionally raps alongside Chico Dusty, I’m sure this is bound to get a few people talking. No bullshit though, it’s just good to see different generations of artists co-exist and make good music. Even if this isn’t the “official” remix. It’ll do for now and not a bad idea for the future.
This is just a hunch, but something tells me this is only the beginning and we’re going to hear from Big a lot over the next few months. It’s about to be a real hot spring/summer.
