For the most part, this Solar/Guru fiasco has gotten uglier than any of us could have possibly ever imagined. The wound of Guru’s death is still fresh, so for most it still remains a sensitive topic to discuss. Then when you bring into account Solar’s questionable activity after his passing, the whole situation seems to get more complex by the day.
Leave it to the Internet to up the ante. Apparently since Friday, unknown hackers got a hold of Guru and Solar’s Twitter accounts and all hell proceeded to break loose.
Throughout the evening, the intruder released a series of emails sent to or from Solar, including the controversial statement allegedly made by Guru, while he was dying of cancer.
“Remember that I am doing this for Guru. We all deserve the truth,†the hacker Twittered. “I’ve posted these e-mails for you, now let me know what you think of them. Should I post more? Should I stop? Am I smooth? Elaborate! I’ve got around 800 mails lol, so it will take a while…â€
The unknown individual has been Tweeting from Solar’s account since May 7th. Tonight, the individual released a number of sensitive emails from Solar’s account.
It gets even crazier from there. Nude pictures of women who sent pics to Solar and royalty statements were among the e-mails which were released. No one knows at the moment who hacked the profiles, but if those e-mails are in fact real, all I can do is laugh and move on. Not laugh because I find it humorous, instead, it’s sickening to think of someone using another person’s sickness to their benefit. At some point, Solar cared for Guru, I believe that. However, friends don’t do that to friends. At least not real friends.
Feel free to correct me if I’m reading it wrong, but reading “Tkae out respect and privacy, as info is being made up” is him openly admitting he is altering info. Then again, he could also be saying other people are creating their own accounts of the story. Who knows? Something tells me this saga is going to get uglier before it gets resolved in full.
The most disheartening thing is seeing him boast about “free publicity” in the e-mails. A so-called “brother” is on his death bed and the idea of free publicity is what you’re concerned with? It just forces you to think – how many people truly have your best interest at heart at the end of the day?
Yet and still, most importantly, R.I.P. Guru.
