Slim Thug Doesn't Care ABout Black Women

It’s hard to trust a Black woman [sometimes] because a lot of Black women’s mind frame is that the man gotta do everything for her⎯ he gotta pay for this, he gotta pay for that, and if it ain’t about money then a lot of them ain’t fucking with him. If that’s what you’re here for then I don’t want to be with you. Most single Black women feel like they don’t want to settle for less. Their standards are too high right now. They have to understand that successful Black men are kind of extinct. We’re important. It’s hard to find us so Black women have to bow down and let it be known that they gotta start working hard; they gotta start cooking and being down for they man more. They can’t just be running around with their head up in the air and passing all of us.
My girl is Black and White. I guess the half White in her is where she still cooks and do all the shit that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy ass shit. And she’s a smart girl too. She graduated from Columbia [University] and I like that about her so it’s cool. I’ve dated girls that will buy a $3,000 bag and don’t know how to pay it off on their credit cards. They walk around in these Louis Vuittons and red bottoms but they’re riding around in raggedy cars, so it’s just getting your priorities right.
What’s sad is this negro use to date a very respectful black woman. So his comments/concerns about the “black women” is just a stereotype that his been branded on us women. Slim not thinking outside the box or maybe finding a respectful black women is what the real issue is. There are plenty of “good women”, Â but you Slim, Â spend your time looking/attracting ignorant women who spread their legs for you at a moments notice. I believe You attract what you are.

Slim Thug said “Successful Black Men are Kinda Extinct” brothas why aren’t u offended by this? Your brotha Slim Thug said success amongst black men is dead, dosent exist smh yall gonna agree with him becasue u don’t believe in urselves at any rate this ish should be making you mad. but it won’t because a Black Man who actually believes in himself is extinct. yes a sista will push u hard to educate, and elevate yourself because we are genetically conditions to accompany a black man. but since successful black men are a dying breed and slim thug defintetly ain’t no P Diddy then fine u negros can keep a white girl.

TYBO must be a man and definitely not among the successful elite that Slim Thug was referring to in his ignorant statement, because the only thing he saw wrong in his statement was the with/what and not the improper use of Somebodies. But I digress. Generalizations keep black people down. Most Black women stand by their man. Just like most black men are not criminals. Nevertheless, we as a people are the main proponents of our own negative stereotypes. Let’s get to know people one at a time before we make blanket ignorant statements.

interesting point of view, I used the slim thug quote for a response on my own blog, though as a black man I do COMPLETELY understand where Slim Thug is coming from

As a woman I must say that our brother Slim Thugs argument isn’t entirely wrong just a bit warped. There are two legitimate issues brought up here number one no one should have to lower their standards (and successful black men are not extinct). Two I can see in my own generation (the me generation) where women seem to feel entitled to happiness which includes a romantic partner. Many women do tend to miss that being humble and vulnerable are necessary components to finding a partner (and might I add that the men of my generation seem to miss this as well its just that when women seem a bit more self involved and not as giving emotionally society makes a bigger deal out of it). I hope we get to a point where black men and women can connect and see more eye to eye. I’m tired of reading things like this as if we are in some kind of chess game w each other. Black Love Lives!!!!
