You’re working on a project, and you know it’s some of your best work yet. I mean, you put your heart and soul into making sure that people recognized that you were really about your business. The only problem is, you’re not sure when you are going to get the chance to showcase it to the world, leaving you frustrated…annoyed…maybe even a bit angry. That’s the position J. Cole is in as we speak.

It’s Labor Day, and he’s still laboring over his yet to be titled debut album that has no solid release date. So…in the midst of his angst… he sent out a series of tweets, which included this new piece called “Villematic.” On the track, he shares his thoughts about his current situation, all over Kanye’s recently released “Devil In A New Dress” beat. One thing Cole said that he would not do is put out another mixtape before his album drops, but I guess the situation has called for a different action. No word on a release date but keep your eyes open for it in the coming days.
