Patience is a virtue. Three years ago, Juelz Santana shot a movie entitled The Project along with Michael David Stahl and Matt Servito. After numerous accolades from several film festivals, the movie is finally being released onto dvd.

Three first-time filmmakers, Justin, Dana and John set out to document the hardships of inner-city life. Justin follows two NYPD officers while Dana and John focus on Thomas (a black youth poised to move up from his hardships). Stories merge, relationships corrode and the filmmakers become participants in the underground world they set out to document.

As fate would have it, the film will finally get see its release date tomorrow on DVD. In this clip, Santana speaks about the movie and how it came to be. Jim Jones also makes an appearance in the film as well.

To be honest, I’m not eager to see a Juelz Santana movie. I’d much rather hear some music but I think he’s lost what it means to be a rapper..
