Hot97 Held it’s Christmas concert at Paradise Theater in the Bronx, NY last night. Nicki Minaj, Fabolous & Lloyd Banks all headlined the event. Industry Muscle was on hand and was able to record her whole set. During her set, Nicki decided to play Santa and give out Pillow Pets to the crowd.
This is inaccurate Lloyd Banks did not even show up you could not hear FAB and there were fights everywhere…there was a DJ from 7-10:15pm roughly Nicki Minaj came on set for approx a 1hour set then she proceeded to sign 50 womens boobs! n throw items into the crowd !! A total disappointment!!! Nicki Minaj is a good performer, I went to Hammerstein Ballroom howeva this right here!!! I felt DICKED for my hard earned money!!! this was my Xmas gift….n I left I felt my safety was compromised!!!
I was actually there last night at this ghettofied concert. Hot 97 was NOT in attendance, neither was Lloyd Banks or Fred Da Godson. Nicki was the first performer of the night (weird much?) and I must say that the crowd knew every word to her songs, screamed their heads off, and embraced Nicki despite the two hour wait. If you only knew the amount of people who left once her set was done. SMH. Poor Fab’s mic was awful while his DJ was way too damn loud. After Fab’s set, the concert was over. Paradise Theater is AWFUL! No liquor, no toilet tissue among the complaints. Props to Nicki for holding down a concert with no guest appearances though.
