It turns out Lil Mama received a lump of coal from a New York crowd before Christmas Day. On December 23, the New York Native attended Chris Brown’s All Black Extravaganza as special guest at Webster Hall. Things started off fine with the crowd open towards her presence, but the mood quickly turned for the worse.

Nearly almost the moment she began to freestyle, the crowd pelted a heavy coat of boos in her direction prompting her to issue this on-the-spot statement.

“Excitement comes in so many different forms. Once you lose something that’s pure and as deep as your mother, nothing can faze you. Nothing! I love yall. I have love for your no matter what. This where I hail from. And the same niggas that hate me made me great, B.”

Known more recently for her off the mic actions – her unplanned stage crashing at the 2009 VMA’s and judge on America’s Best Dance Crew – is rumored to be recording a new album which will be the follow up to 2007’s VYP: Voice of the Young People.
