Mike Posner is an artist I’ve been a fan of for a while and even had the opportunity to sit down with in August of 2009 for one of our earlier installments of Civilized Talk. The Duke University Blue Devil released his debut album 31 Minutes To Takeoff almost exactly a year later on August 10, 2010, and as seen it be fueled by the singles “Cooler Than Me” (which he has performed on shows such as Lopez Tonight and America’s Got Talent) and “Please Don’t Go.”
My favorite record from the project, however, has long been “Bow Chica Wow Wow,” which ironically Mike is releasing as his third official single. And with a new year comes a new twist 2010 didn’t offer. Young Money Ceo Dwayne Carter is now featured on the record and the video was actually shot in Los Angeles last week. Enjoy. Play it again and play it once more for good measure.
