The mixtape displays their growth as artists and individuals with reflective ballads while staying true to their trademark style of rap. Beanie Sigel Ends Feud With Jay-Z By Apologizing

In October of 2009, Beanie Sigel released his “Average Cat” track which was a diss record aimed at his former boss and long time friend Jay-Z. Sigel told XXL that this track was just the beginning. He had an entire album worth of Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella diss songs but decided not to put them out for the public. Well today he puts all of this beef behind him and apologizes to Jay-Z in his phone call with XXL earlier today. Below you can read the exact statement he gave on the situation. I guess if you can’t beat them, join them. Well in this case, apologize.

What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas fuck up too,’” “Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.

Beanie Sigel on Roc-A-Fella Diss Album
:

I was explaining the whole Roc-A-Fella shit and a lot of feelings were going to get hurt,” B. Sig said. “I was airing shit out. Just the homies could listen to that when they come into the studio. I couldn’t put that out. It wouldn’t sit right with me.

Video: Fonzworth Bentley Speaks On Pimp C, Lil Wayne & “C.O.L.O.U.R.S.”

It seems like forever ago that unique collaboration “C.O.L.O.U.R.S.” with Lil Wayne and Pimp C was released. And even then I thought it was odd. Fonzworth was always known as that guy with Diddy and immortalized in the Dave Chappelle skit. During my daily stop by Dirty Glove Bastard, the good people over there uploaded a video of Bentley speaking about the song and the story behind its creation.

The dopest aspect about the record, you ask? Not Wayne’s verse or Pimp C’s spirit. Nope. Fonzworth is donating the publishing to Chad’s kids.

Video: MMG Invades Miami

Miami wasn’t the center of the universe this past weekend, but it probably felt like it. The NBA Finals tip off tonight in the American Airlines Arena, but these past few days showcased Memorial Day Weekend. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how many events were held paying homages to those who have sacrified their lives for this country and are currently doing doing so. This isn’t one of these types of posts though. By now, if you’re at least 21 and don’t live under a rock, you know what, or have at least heard, what life in the 305 the last weekend in May is like.

Cameras followed around the entire Maybach Music Group as they traveled everywhere from the “I’m On One” video shoot , to several different clubs to Spring Fest 2011. And as eskay would say, the usual South Beach stunt trip is included as well. Money opens up an entirely different lifestyle is what I thought upon skimming through the clip. I think I’m stunting getting four or five drinks when I go out. But that’s only because either A) I ate before I went out or B) the place has half off appetizers. I’d bet my next paycheck none of those guys have to face that type of dilemma anymore.

Self Made is in stores now.

Lloyd Banks feat. Fabolous – “Money Chase”

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Hope everyone’s Memorial Day is going well and that you’re either at a cookout now or on your way to one. Anywho, Banks dropped this track over the weekend and it dropped yesterday in three crucial categories:

– Full

– Dirty

– CDQ (what up, Matt?!)

Let’s be honest, no one wants a clean radio snippet. Right? Loso and Lloyd team up once again to wax poetic lyrics about the ever-important quest for never ending money. I’m not sure where the final destination for this track will be although I’m about 70% sure it’ll land on Banks’ new Cold Corner mixtape.
