Well, simply put, DJ Khaled’s strength happens to be his most apparent weakness. The fact that he can bring together some of the biggest names in the industry is a positive and has produced dividends on numerous occasions. Then again, the fact he can put an obese amount of rappers on one song has also been his detriment. Really, I judge Khaled on a song by song basis (although I do think he’s one of the best hypemen in Hip Hop).

Out of nowhere it seems like, a new network-concoted song entitled “I’m On One” hit the interwebs. Featuring some usual suspects in Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne and production from T-Minus, it serves as the next look into Khaled’s new album We The Best Forever set to drop June 28. And say what you will about it being generic or whatever other description can be used to say it isn’t up to par, but this is already on the iPod. Twitter is buzzing about Drake “being back” and and a Gil Green directed video is said to be in the works. Judge for yourself.
