Jadakiss and Styles said it themselves. The long awaited, much delayed LOX album is like the East Coast’s version of Detox; especially since Saigon dropped The Greatest Story Never Told earlier this year. Two thirds of the the storied group sat down with MTV to discuss the reasoning behind all the delays. Like Styles (and eskay) alluded to, the problem isn’t the amount of material. Seeing as how  I first heard about the album in early ’09, I’m willing to guess they have six or seven albums worth of music stored on some hard drive.

And while I’m not exactly excited about the album right now, all it takes is one or two quality leaks to change things. Plus, you know most of the industry rocks with them so the guest appearances could be crazy if this thing ever comes to fruition. We’ll see if anything changes between now and New Year’s Eve though.
