After a bunch of talk about this track along with snippets, the song is finally here. T.I.‘s first official song since being released from prison. No verse from Big K.R.I.T but he handles the production side of things. Welcome back, T.I.

Well we know what T.I. has been doing since his departure from prison. He’s been on a rampage, jumping on beat after beat. And although we are yet to receive an official song from the king, these verses should hold us over until the time comes. Is The King really back? Can he get back to the top of the game like he once was? Only time will tell.

We all know the best team to ever play the game was the 72-10 Bulls team of 1996. But some seem to disagree, and with the release of NBA 2k12 right around the corner (Tuesday to be exact), they release the commercial which stars Michael Jordan and Drake.

Jay-Z hosted his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation carnival in NYC’s Pier 54. The Making The Ordinary Extraordinary event cost $1,000 a ticket and benefited the organization, which launched in 2002 to help socio-economic hardships further education at institutions of higher learning.
Guests included Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez, the foundation’s CEO and Jay’s mother, Gloria Carter.

Sooner or later (hopefully sooner), Common will release a new album. He has too, right?
Until then, we’ll just have to take looks into the project however we can. Case in point Lonnie dropping a verse for the LA Leakers from his next single, “Blue Sky.” Word is the entire thing is produced by No I.D.
But seriously, if he doesn’t release a new album, I’m completely fine with letting Be ride for the rest of my life.

This just in. Victor Ortiz just apologized to Floyd Mayweather again.
Seriously, it was only a matter of time before Hip Hop capitalized off Ray J’s now infamous Power 105 interview. You know, aside from making it a trending topic on Twitter. There were too many quotables for it not to be used in some capacity. Well, the wait is already over. Houston’s own Slim Thug was talking about this on Twitter and let loose of the final product with Brandy’s brother in all of his glory serving as the track’s sample. I’m not sure if this is from an upcoming mixtape or whether Thugga just fell inspired by Ray J’s meltdown.
Either way, take it and add it to your archives or use it as inspiration to go back and listen to the interview all over again.

Big Sean’s on his own now. His own tour, that is. What we have above is a trailer for his upcoming tour set to kickoff October 2 (because there are trailers for everything these days). Good to see dude come up and achieve what he has so far. I remember thinking Sean was never going to get a chance to get a push like CuDi did. Hell, I remember when he had a freestyle over Kanye’s “Say You Will” and he questioned the same exact thing.
Now, he’s got an album on the charts and singles on the radio. Life appears to be good and expect to see Sean releasing a slew of these videos in the coming weeks. Seriously though, he’s really not going to shoot a video for “So Much More”?

We got the official single yesterday, and now Flex premieres yet another track off of Wale‘s “Ambition” album. This time, Rick Ross accompanies the DC native. “Lotus Flower Bomb” was for the radio but this right here is what is going to tear down the clubs and the streets. Don’t be fooled by the title. It’s way more deeper than just tattoos. “Ambition” in stores 11.1.11
