This may come as a surprise to some of you, but I’ll let you in on a small secret: (most) rappers like love to get inebriated. Or in their slang, “faded.” Soulja Boy, who has put his legal controversies behind him, looks to be dropped a new album come April entitled “Promise.” The first look into the project is a collaboration with one Jayceon Taylor, better known simply as Game.

There are two interesting things that deserved to be noted as it relates to this track. Soulja, who has gone through several transformations in styles over the course of his career, sounds as if he was influenced by ASAP Rocky. Game, however, is the one who’ll raise eyebrow and not only because his impressive showing, but more so for the shot at one of America’s most talked about and controversial socialites.

“That Hublot, them rocks up in it shining like the Staples Center lights
When Kobe go for 40 looking like Mike
Don’t compare me to these rap niggas
I’m nothing like them, I swear to God
I done ran through her before Kris Humphries
My dick big, you can ask the broad
I like my bitch authentic, no fake titties or ass
If she do I Ricky Rubio that hoe, I pass…”

Tell ’em how you really feel, Chuck. Game was rumored to be involved with Kim Kardashian around the same time her sextape with Ray J leaked, so it isn’t exactly breaking news he mentioned her here. What it is, however, is another shot thrown at Kim K’s tattered armor as earlier this month Amber Rose blamed her for the breakup with Kanye West. That girl’s allegedly been passed around more than a collection play on Easter Sunday. And not to kick someone while they’re down, a pretty penny would be paid to see Kim’s face the first time she hears this track. One of these days she’s going to snap. At this point she’s the poster child, fairly or not, for how not to establish a reputation.
