Grammy nominated J. Cole stopped through Hot97.5 to catch up on a couple of different topics with Bootleg Kev. Cole finally confirms the rumors of his upcoming project with Kendrick Lamar. Cole says, “I just started working with Kendrick the other day. We got it in, finally, again. [It’s gonna be an] album, man.” He continues, “We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it was like, man, that’s absolutely gonna happen.” He also adds that they already have four or five songs together.

Cole also talks about why he won’t be returning to Twitter, touring with Drake, not making MTV’s “Hottest MCs” list, what to expect from his sophomore album, and more. This wait for new music from J.Cole is definitely going to be worth it.

“When it’s my time… I’m gone load up all my clips, and when it’s time… I’m gone empty em out. Then worry about the next project.” – ColeWorld
