Jay-Z has been in the news quite a bit lately. First the release of his D’usse Cognac, then the new of him headlining the Budweiser Made in America Festival, and now he has sided with President Barack Obama and is publicly supporting same-sex marriage. In a recent interview with CNN, placed above, Hov speaks out on not only the topic of same-sex marriage but also responds to the criticism facing President Obama. He said, “I think it’s the right thing to do, so whether it costs him votes or not…Again, it’s not about votes, it’s about people.”
Before he begins to prepare for the Made In America Festival, he will join Kanye West on the European leg of the Watch The Throne Tour which kicks off on May 18th in London.
