According to the New York Daily News, Cee Lo Green was allegedly caught on tape apologizing to a woman after she accused him of sexual battery and drugging her with ecstasy. The singer and judge of The Voice apparently slipped MDMA into her drink while the two were out to dinner in Los Angeles, after the which the woman “remembers nothing until waking up later lying completely naked in a bed with Green.” While the record of their conversation as yet to surface, LAPD has questioned the restaurant staff and Green‘s lawyers claim the woman only went to the police after lawyering up herself and failing to acquire financial compensation from the singer.
