Although you haven’t seen artist Pharrell on the music scene physically, he is still very present. Some of your favorite records of 2012 just might have a touch of Pharrell’s production skills on it, including works with Jay-Z, Frank Ocean and many more. But there is a reason for this of course. Pharrell shares his opinion on why a little competition is what the American spirit needs and shares this quote:

“A little bit of the illusion is healthy… like the election. I think it was a good exercise for this country. I think everybody being invigorated, and going and sharing their opinion is what America is about.”
