Disguied as an Album Listening Party at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in lower manhattan, the true cause of the event was for Rihanna to fundraise for Hurrican Sandy. The pop princess encouraged her fans to bring tons of cleaning supplies, as she also donated 1,000 sleeping bags to the New York Daily News’ Hurricane Sandy relief effort, as well as a contribution of $100,000. Giving her fans a preview of each track of her anticpated album within the next week, the real purpose here was to bring some pride back to New York City. Showing up wearing a Proenza Schouler Birds Quilted Silk Jacket with her best friend Jen Rosales and looking very well-rested, the incredibly famous Rihanna shows that she is more than what meets the eye..and is very generous.
