Mr. West took live to the stage tonight as the only Hip Hop act to perform apart of the 12.12.12 Benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert, and made quite an impressionable statement. Hitting the stage wearing an all black pyrex vision hoodie, tight leather denim pants and um… a black leather “kilt” if you must call it such, and rocked Madison Square Garden along side other musicians such as Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters and a ton of others. The concert in name of the Robin Hood Relief Fund, dedicated proceeds to the effected victims of the super storm Hurricane Sandy, and Hip Hop showed up to do their part and contribute. Minus the skirt, lets give a round of applause to Kanye West for holding down the hip hop audience in a room full of classical, country and pop music legends. Check out the medley of songs he performed after the jump…
Being introduced by Comedian Chris Rock and opening up with Clique, transitioning into Mercy, then Power and so fourth, Kanye definitely handled the stage all alone. Check it out below!
