Mike Posner makes an extremely thoughtful gesture this weekend by releasing his new track “Heaven”. He does this in honor of the Sandy Hook Connecticut school shooting and killing of 20 children and 6 adults, and depicts a picture of heaven in which we all are hoping the words to this song will be in the hearts of the affected victims families and friends. None of this makes sense according to Mike, and so there needs to be a little positivity in light of music. Posner goes on to say

““I wanted to do SOMETHING for the victims’ families. I wrote this song because I didn’t know what else to do, Today makes no sense…God has blessed me with this gift and it felt wrong not to share it. I hope this song finds its way to proper ears.”
