With the effects of the Newtown school shooting still lingering on the spirits of millions of Americans around the world, various Hollywood Celebrities have decided to join forces and support the strict reinforcement of gun control laws in the general public. In Newtown Connecticut today, the town holds a moment of silence for all of the victims who have lost their lives, but this still is not enough. Is the government going about this situation all wrong? The National Riffle Association has released a statement that has become completely offensive towards many affected victims. National Riffle Association says: he blamed gun violence on the media, video games, music, movies, celebrities, funding for foreign aid, attention to sports, law enforcement, possible hurricanes….and gun-free school zone. Said LaPierre, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun…”
