Many fans of rap have been throwing out their opinions stating that “French Montana just might have awoke a sleeping Giant”, referring to how hard 50 goes on this newly released track “Major Distribution”. The track features West Coast Rap legend Snoop Dog and the Atlanta/Atlantic boss Young Jeezy. We know 50 Cent is about that millionaire lifestyle, but he clearly lets people know here not to press him and forget where he came from. Rapper J.Cole drops another Gem to the interwebs today with this new joint “2012″/Im A Fool. This track was recorded back in 2008 and didn’t make the cut on any of Coles recent projects BUT Perfect timing huh, as we just escaped the supposed “apocalypse”? With the effects of the Newtown school shooting still lingering on the spirits of millions of Americans around the world, various Hollywood Celebrities have decided to join forces and support the strict reinforcement of gun control laws in the general public. In Newtown Connecticut today, the town holds a moment of silence for all of the victims who have lost their lives, but this still is not enough. Is the government going about this situation all wrong? The National Riffle Association has released a statement that has become completely offensive towards many affected victims. New York City was completely on edge yesterday as some of the original members of the “original” Roc-A-Fella Records held a reunion concert at the Grammercy Theater. This might of been a time where their were TOO many real lyricists in a building at one time as Freeway, Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz, Peedie Crack, Just Blaze, NORE & more tore the stage down performing Roc originals. You might be asking where Jay-Z, Kanye, Dame Dash and others were, but we understand that some issues will never be completely resolved as history shows so the effort is appreciated as is. The beautifully talented Jhene Aiko strikes again with her new track “Wrap Me Up” produced by Tae Beast of TDE and featured artist James Fauntleroy, a name you have never heard of right? But it’s ok as his vocals completely compensate for the fact that you have no idea where you’ve seen his name. “Wrap Me Up” credits to a situation where one wants to be wrapped up completely in love, and we 100% feel Jhene as we vibe out to her soothing & easy-going sound. Original Wu-Tang MC Raekwon returns today to release a new track titled “Never Can Say Goodbye”. Featuring an old-school 60′s flowing beat, Raekwon spits off real lyrics as naturally as it seems. This is a really great Hip Hop sounding track sampled from the orginial “Never Can Say Goodbye” song by The Jackson 5. Check it out after the jump!
