Franklyn is one of those artist you look forward to hearing from. He is refreshing and brings a different vibe to the UK rap scene. After two mixtapes Just Being Frank – The Mixtape and Just Being Frank II, the young rapper, who turned down the prestigious Cambridge University beacuse of its lack in the music scene is now excelling in both areas.
The East Londoner served up the black and white classic style visuals for his new single Dreams where he explored the beautiful scenes of Paris sharing his ambition and aspirations as well as his struggle and desires. With vocals from Emmavie laid comfortably on a J.Dilla beat, Franklyn seasons it with calm and ease, reflective and rhythmic, the lyricist is one to watch out for as this year unfolds.
We all got dreams so I’m sure you can relate.
