Video: Joe Budden Talks About The Dangers Of “Molly” On Fox 5 News

Rapper Joe Budden has been at the edge of all news headlines lately with the success of Love & Hip Hop, the hype behind Tuesday’s release of No Love Lost and now his story appearing on local news stations throughout New Jersey. The rapper sits down with Lisa Everest at Fox 5 news to discuss the dangers of actually “poppin a molly”, a drug that is a condensed form of Ecstasy that causes a feeling of relief, hallucination but also addiction. As praised as molly might be in every rapper’s songs right now, Budden explains to the interviewer that it is a very dangerous drug that can cause self destruction and alter your state of being. As fun as it might be to say “popped a molly I’m sweating”, the Hip Hop community might really need to come to grips with the fact that although this drug may seem like a good time, it is 100% harmful and does damage to your body inevitably.  Joe states that if every rapper has to be against him in order for his positive message in his music to convey to the kids of this generation, then so be it!
