What a voice! Soul singer Tweet, who you might be familiar with from her hit records “Opps Oh My” and “Call Me” in 2002 has been working very diligently in the studio to bring back that soulful R&B music that we all loved and missed. She has started with releasing a preview of her forthcoming project “Simply Tweet”; a compilation mix that features the track “Enough” which has been well received by most music websites. Hit the jump to read more on Tweet and her new project, as well as sample her 5 track EP set to release February 26th.
Tweet’s last projects were “Its Me Again” in 2005 & “Love, Tweet” in 2008, but it has been very quiet for the singer aside from collaborating with artist Syleena Johnson for live performances. Lets just say that Tweet has been one of the voices we’ve been missing. Her goal this time around is to focus solely on the music that is inspiring to her, not what pop culture wants to hear. You can recognize a complete difference in her style of music from 2002 compared to the “Simply Tweet” snippet in which you can listen to below. Will you be looking out for tweets new project come the 26th? Check it out!
