Recently Cam’ron had an interview with KarenCivil.com and discussed various subjects such as his response to Jay Z, his current music and his stance within fashion.

While on the topic of fashion, Killa Cam was questioned about his involvement in the collaboration with DOPE apparel and how it came about. The fashion venture has been generating buzz, but Cam let us know that everything isn’t what it seems. When speaking on the brand the Harlem rapper says:

“This dude calls from from DOPE like, ‘Yo we’re putting out the capsule Cam clothes deal that we made in a couple weeks.’ I never signed off on anything with them. I didn’t cosign on the artwork or designs. I’m not going to allow them to have had conversations with my manager a year and a  half ago about doing something because their company is in trouble, and now they see that I’m doing good in fashion, they think they just ton’ throw this out there. I’m not cosigning that. I’ll put it on Instagram and everything that I’m not doing it.”

The words from Cam seem to show that there was no actual deal set in place, however DOPE has responded with a picture showing exactly where Cam’ron signed in agreement to the partnership. The picture of the signed contract is above.
