Fabolous talks new EP in the next installment of the "Civilized Talk" series.

Curren$y Prepares For Liftoff

Curren$y is always lifted. That’s not a surprise. However, July 13 is different. That’s when his long awaited album Pliot Talk is released. With his rise in popularity over the past year, P.T. marks an important point in his career. His lane is already cemented through an impressive cult following grassroots campaign highlighted by a common love for joints and Jordan’s. And with several notable releases to his name, this stands to be the project to push Spitta over the top.

Keep in mind, he’ll never be the kind of guy you see plastered all over mainstream radio or #1 on the Billboard charts and I doubt that’s his aim to begin with. The above clip, however, is a 34 second teaser to the album. Truthfully, had it not been for Creative Control this wouldn’t have been posted, but I’m a stan of their work, so yeah. That’s that.

If you’re like me and haven’t listened to the leaked tracks, but still want a preview of the album, head over to Complex. There, a track-by-track breakdown of the flight is there for your reading pleasure. Not much turbulence either. After the jump, you’ll find another trailer. This time of the track “Roasted” which features Trademark Da SkyDiver and Young Roddy.

J.E.T.S. Just. Enjoy. This. Sh!t.

Juvenile Thanking Drake Now?

They say nothing in the world is original anymore – it is just an upgraded version of what is already out there. Most of the time, I wouldn’t bother posting an album’s cover art mainly because it doesn’t serve much of a purpose. This, however, was too much too ignore. (Keep reading…)

The Clipse feat. Cam'ron – "Back By Popular Demand (Popeyes)"

The real wait is over! Dj Envy just premiered the record, and here is the official CDQ. You have seen everything from tweets, pictures, audio teasers, video teasers and interviews. Everything except that actual song, but great things always come to those that wait. Now after years in the making (The Clipse wanted Cam’ron to lay a verse on their “Grindin” remix, but that never happened) the Thorton brothers and Harlem’s own King Jaffy Joe have finally come together on the same track and if that wasn’t enough this classic is produced by none other than Pharrell.

gucci-spotlight-singlecover

When it comes to Gucci Mane, when it rains it pours! Just to recap if you have been living under a rock, Gucci Mane is EVERYWHERE! Between his own material, being featured on MTV’s Hottest MCs List and his numerous features and remixes, it seems like there is no end in sight. This brand new joint “Spotlight” is being billed as the official follow up to “Wasted”. His album Radric Vs. The State is still slated to hit stores this December.

50 CENT – "WAR ANGEL LP"

Far removed from his days as the undisputed mixtape champion, last night 50 released what is alleged the first of many “street albums” as he attempts to build hype for the much talked about and delayed Before I Self Destruct. Word is a G-Unit mixtape is on the way as well.

How great would it be to see the G-Unit radio series return?

Anyway, the tracklist and link follow after the jump as well as the video of 50’s interview with Funk Flex, courtesy of the good folks at Nah Right.
