I know we were all waiting for Kanye West, Pharrell, and Lupe Fiasco to drop the The CRS album, but because no clear-cut direction was chosen for the project it has been put on hold. Good news is, two thirds of the group are moving forward with a new project. Lupe Fiasco revealed on his website that he and Pharrell are recording a joint album. As well as, prepping Food & Liquor 2, the sequel to his 2006 album.

While we wait for Kanye with DONDA and his new fashion line, I guess this can hold us over until the trio decide to sit down and put together the long awaited CRS album

Live from Jungle Studios, before introducing his artist off his We the Best Music label./Def Jam Recording artist Ace Hood, DJ Khaled spoke about their road to Ace Hood’s 3rd album “Blood, Sweat & Tears” set to drop August 9th. Before each track Ace Hood gave details of what each song meant and what was the driving force behind them, from his most personal songs on the album such as “Spoke to my Momma” coming from a real conversation he had with his mother about the struggles that consist between both their lives, to his summer street anthem “Go N Get It & Hustle Hard” which we also got a sneak listen to the remix of “Hustle Hard” that’s not set to drop until next week. affiliate Def Jam Artist Fabolous along with Murda Mook & Actor Hassan Johnson the Wire stopped by to support Ace Hood on his album.

Big Sean is all set to drop his debut album. He has two singles out that are getting a lot of love in the clubs, radios and car speakers all over. Above is the official artwork for the album. Now all we need is the track list, which should be upon us shortly. “Finally Famous: The Album” in stores June 28th, BOI!

Earlier in the week, a different album cover was released but it seems that there has been a slight change in the cover. Above is the official album cover for the Maybach Music‘s first installment of the “Self Made” series. Although the album cover changed, the date remains the same, May 24th.

Rick Ross and the rest of the Maybach Music Group dynasty is set to release their first album on May 24th. Above is the official album cover that features Rick Ross, Wale, Pill, and Meek Mill. Newly signed Teedra Moses should appear on the album as well although she didn’t make the cover.

Curren$y is always lifted. That’s not a surprise. However, July 13 is different. That’s when his long awaited album Pliot Talk is released. With his rise in popularity over the past year, P.T. marks an important point in his career. His lane is already cemented through an impressive cult following grassroots campaign highlighted by a common love for joints and Jordan’s. And with several notable releases to his name, this stands to be the project to push Spitta over the top.

Keep in mind, he’ll never be the kind of guy you see plastered all over mainstream radio or #1 on the Billboard charts and I doubt that’s his aim to begin with. The above clip, however, is a 34 second teaser to the album. Truthfully, had it not been for Creative Control this wouldn’t have been posted, but I’m a stan of their work, so yeah. That’s that.

They say nothing in the world is original anymore – it is just an upgraded version of what is already out there. Most of the time, I wouldn’t bother posting an album’s cover art mainly because it doesn’t serve much of a purpose. This, however, was too much too ignore.

Long gone are his glory days with the then infant Cash Money Records, but Juve’s still releasing music – which is fine by me. Later this summer (July 13 to be exact), the former lead Hot Boy will be releasing his new project, Beast Mode. The cover for the album seems to be very familiar – almost identical to Drake’s Thank Me Later artwork. Business is business and promotion most of the time comes by any means necessary, so I guess you can’t be too upset with Juve’s cover.

It has always been said that imitation is the finest form of flattery. I’d assume this applies too.

The real wait is over! Dj Envy just premiered the record, and here is the official CDQ. You have seen everything from tweets, pictures, audio teasers, video teasers and interviews. Everything except that actual song, but great things always come to those that wait. Now after years in the making (The Clipse wanted Cam’ron to lay a verse on their “Grindin” remix, but that never happened) the Thorton brothers and Harlem’s own King Jaffy Joe have finally come together on the same track and if that wasn’t enough this classic is produced by none other than Pharrell.
