Well this year is set to be even bigger as long time best friends and legendary Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg are set to headline the event which will take place in California starting on April 13th. Along with the two legends, artists such as The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and many more will be in attendance

An epic night for the young MC, who celebrated his first official show in Charlotte by bringing out another collaborator, Wale, to rock the crowd as well. He performed a slew of hits that reached as far back as his earliest mixtapes to fan favorites from the new album.

Kanye West has been attending fashion shows for years, taking inspiration from a lot of designers but when he announced that he himself was planning to launch a clothing line of his own, they merely shrugged it off.

But Kanye had a few surprises lined up such as his black dress with the daring plunging neckline, the beige dress with the dirndl detailing and the color blocked pants, worn with the unbuttoned shirt.

Jay-Z hosted his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation carnival in NYC’s Pier 54. The Making The Ordinary Extraordinary event cost $1,000 a ticket and benefited the organization, which launched in 2002 to help socio-economic hardships further education at institutions of higher learning.

Guests included Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez, the foundation’s CEO and Jay’s mother, Gloria Carter.

A few moments ago, Nike officially unveiled the Nike Air Mag AKA “Marty McFly” shoe. As stated earlier, Nike announced that 1500 pairs of this shoe will be auctioned on eBay, nikemag.eBay.com, with all net proceeds going directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The auction will begin tonight at 8:30PM PST and end on September 18 (150 pairs will be posted on eBay per day for 10 days). The Nike Air Mag has been anticipated for the longest as it first showed its face in the 1989 2015 released film Back to the Future.

Leading up to the release of the Nike Air Mag, a 50 million match grant was given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation by Sergey Brin and Anne Wojcicki; they will match all donations to the foundation, up to 50 million dollars, through the end of 2012.

“We wanted to translate the excitement people have for the ‘greatest shoe never made’ and for the Back to the Future into positive action,” said Mark Parker, CEO of Nike. “But the long term objective is to raise awareness so the Foundation can achieve their goal of eradicating Parkinson’s disease.

The Air Mag is the first rechargeable footwear from Nike were designed as an identical replica to the originals seen in the Back to the Future II movie. Some of the constant elements include the upper contours, the glowing LED panel and the electroluminescent Nike logo in the strap. The Nike Air Mag actually illuminates with the pinch of the “ear” of the high top, glowing for five hours per charge.
