After premiering “Black Slaves” in impressive fashion, Kanye West took his talents to SNL to perform live on stage. His first set he premiered yet another brand new track that is entitled “Black Skinhead” which has more of a pop/rock sound to it. I’ve been seeing mixed reviews about it, but I’m sure opinions will shift once full CDQ audio is available. Performance can be seen above and if you didn’t know, “Yeezus” hits stores June 18th (Hopefully those all red Yeezy 2′s drop then as well).

Just two weeks ago, KarenCivil.com had the opportunity to take our camera’s live on the road. We caught up with seasoned rap veteran Bleu Davinci‘s most recent signee Tabius Tate and followed his journey to headline the BET Music Matter’s Showcase at S.O.B.’s in New York City. The all inclusive behind the scenes footage features Tabius’s event appearances, touring life, an intimate setting interview and rehearsal show footage; all leading to his closing show performance at the famous New York City music venue. Even though we haven’t heard an album for Lil Kim since 2005 it doesn’t mean that she still isn’t one of the best females to touch the mic. Performing last night at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre the Queen Bee showed that she still possesses that sex appeal that she is known for. But the what is better than seeing a handful of ‘em in a good, classic freestyle cypher? “The XXL Freshmen Cypher, Episode 1″ features the first four up to the plate, Brooklyn-riser Joey Bada$$, G.O.O.D Music and Hustle Gang signee, Travi$ Scott, one third of super-group Black Hippy and TDE representer, Ab-Soul and the Queens, NY and Albanian sensation Action Bronson. Yesterday at Stage 48 in New York City was the screening of the first episode of Love &  Hop Atlanta Season Two, where most of the original cast was brought back like Mimi, Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Erica Dixon and K Michelle. Well the Myxx Fusions sponsored event was an open forum where media and press outlets got to ask the cast members questions that people have always wondered. A question that was directed to Mimi from the gossip site “Bossip.Com” was taken out of context and transferred over to K. The recent “Fine China” record dropper Chris Brown is currently in New York knocking out a ton of press including Power 105.1′s the Breakfast Club & Hot 97.1 with Cypher Sounds and Rosenberg. Well his most recent press stop has been at Sirus XM with “Sway In The Morning” where Sway and co-host Tracy G got into some of the stars most recent news. They talked about the top singers in the game, love advice but the most interesting topic of all was Chris recollecting on the first time Rihanna and ex flame Karrueche Tran bumped into each other. After the release of his mixtape, Wrath of Caine, @KingPush also known as Pusha-T hit the road to bring crowds across the country some of the favorite hits off of his new project. North Fairfax Avenue Films (FRFX Ave) captured this black & white footage of the G.O.O.D. Music rapper’s stop in Columbus, OH where rocked the crowd with “Blocka” & “Millions”.
