HS87′s frontman super producer and rapper Hit-Boy gives us a sequel to “Jay-Z Interview Pt. 1 (off of the All I’ve Ever Dreamed Of Mixtape released in March)” called “Jay-Z Interview Pt.2.” Hit digs a little deeper into the inspiration behind the song and his ups and downs of being one of the hottest in the game, so much so that he needed two parts to get it all on wax. As if releasing your album the same days as one of your favorite rappers isn’t enough, J.Cole continues to keep us on our toes for the highly anticipated release of his sophomore album, Born Sinner. Though we’ve been taking a listen to a couple of the tracks off of the new project, the buzz has been swarming around “Let Nas Down,” an emotional ode to how Cole disappointed his favorite rapper when all he wanted to do was be just like him. At his formal listening party in NYC last night, Cole took a few minutes to give us the back-story on the track and his feelings. To peep his explanation click above. We’re sure that everyone can agree, Busta Rhymes made the right move with having Trini-born and fellow YMCMB affiliate Nicki Minaj to hop on the remix summer booty-poppin’ anthem “Twerk It”. Since we now know that Nicki isn’t such a bad “twerker” herself, it’s only right that she taps back into her roots to add some spice to the track. Check it out below!

Machine Gun Kelly, still rolling hard behind his Black Flag mixape movement which should drop very soon, has added another video to his Black Flag installation series and road life. This one is titled “Operation Scream” where he covers the classic Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin”. Black Flag is described as:

“a “state of mind”, military inspired.  Its the symbol for our revolution…to change the landscape as to how people view music and culture.  Black Flag brings fresh ideas to the forefront”.
