[Video] Eve, Luke James, Mindless Behavior & More Support “Move Your Body” 2013 PSA

Brought to the world by the WAT-AAH! Foundation (a crazy and fun water brand that supports and promotes healthier lifestyles for teenage youth) this year’s 2013 “Move Your Body” campaign is well underway. The “Move Your Body” campaign is one that was started by our countries First Lady Michelle Obama, which consists of over 250,000 children across the country dancing and exercising to the famous Beyonce record “Get Me Bodied” remixed “Move Your Body”. In preparation for the fitness and wellness takeover this year, artist such as The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, Perez Hilton, Eve, Bella Thorne, Disney’s Blake Michael, Luke James, Coco Jones, Jacob Latimore, American Idol’s Jessica Sanchez, Mindless Behavior and Justin Bieber’s new artist Madison Beer link together for a national PSA that will promote such a positive force in childhood health. As it stands, I made out like a fat rat at in a Wisconsin cheese factory during the NBA’s Saturday night festivities. Wednesday, I called Kyrie Irving winning the Three Point Contest and Terrence Ross in the Slam Dunk Contest. Yet, the running narrative this year, as it has been in years past, has been the dunk contest leaving much to desired in an entertainment perspective. Gerald Green – who won the contest in 2007 and delivered a perfect 50 dunk on his first attempt – was prepared to up the ante even more until the NBA stepped in and apparent played cockblocker.

When Nike aligned itself with Michael Jordan, the brand (and Mike) was never the same again, catapulting themselves to charts unseen before or since. Nike became more than brand of shoes and athletic wear. Nike became synomous with its generation with every fashionable, up-to-date and “must-have.” The lesson in all this? That perfect endorsement only comes around once every 15-20 years or so. ESPN The Magazine chronicled one of the current generation which paired one of rap’s most iconic names with basketball’s biggest attraction – Dr. Dre and LeBron James.

After the big move from New Jersey to Brooklyn, The Nets franchise has undergone a major makeover. A number of people had different roles in the transformation of the Brooklyn Nets new look from Brooklyn’s own Jay-Z, the owners of the franchise, to designers and fans. As we’ve already seen, the logo itself has taken on a personality of its own in the city, but some are kind of indifferent on the design. The webseries “Road to Brooklyn” from Hov’s  Life + Times gets into the whole story in the episode called “The Look”. To see the full story, click above.

It’s A Wrap! 50 Cent Announces He’s No Longer Apart of “The Money Team”

Last night on Twitter, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took to his account to announce that The Money Team is no more. While he didn’t go into full details explaining why he would no longer be working with Floyd “Money” Mayweather, one can assume that his new deal with Manny Pacquiao can be a reason.“TMT IS OVER. The money team is no longer a team. So it SMS promotions that’s it thats all. SMSaudio,” 50 Cent tweeted last night. “I’m no longer a part [of] or down with TMT promotions. SMSaudio.
