With all the 2010 wrap-up stories and year-end lists dominating these last few days, it’s time to start thinking beyond New Year’s Eve and into the new year. And you know what that means: New Year’s resolutions.

However when MTV News caught up with a few of our favorite stars recently to find out what they resolve to do in 2011, their commitments were a bit more unique.

“My New Year’s resolution is to stay true to myself,” “Bottoms Up” singer Trey Songz revealed. “Regardless of what anybody says, I’ll never let anybody else’s thoughts dictate that of my own.”

Chart-topping pink princess Nicki Minaj offered the most colorful response: “[I'll be] touring around the world. It’s looking like the biggest, baddest, I don’t know … I should’ve had something better to say,” she began, and then invented a few words on the spot, for emphasis on just how big 2011 will be for the “Your Love” singer. “[I'm going to be the] biggest, baddest, boldest, booming-est, fearless-ocity-est, Pink Friday-est, girl,” she promised.

I will always think a New Year’s resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other.

Even though Will.I.Am performed with Cher in the UK talent show finale of  ”X Factor”, piled on praise and  Will vowed to sign her to his label, Cher Lloyd is now locked into Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint.

The Jigga Man has swooped in and inked a deal with the gobby teen quicker than the Black Eye Peas mastermind could say “Where Is The Love, Cher?

A source said: “Even though Cher didn’t do terrifically well in the X Factor finals, there’s been a hell of a lot of interest in her. Will.i.am’s backing only intensified the battle to get her signature.

“After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.”

After a long wait and crypt full of buzz surrounding this project, it is almost ready to release. The music video for Kanye West’s ‘Monster’ single, which features Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, and Bon Iver, has leaked, but not the final cut. The video seems to serve true to the title and features a new artistic vibe that hasn’t been seen in Yeezy’s past videos, with direction by Jake Nava. A great video to add to the West archives.

Nicki Minaj is good for business because Pink Fridaythe album and the lipstick – is selling faster than stores can keep them in stock. As you can see below Nicki tweeted that she and MAC are in talks to bring the line back because of the overwhelming demand. While actually in stock, MAC’s website crashed several times due to customers attempting to place orders for the product.

Due to the success, who knows what Nicki has in store? Maybe making the lipstick available in stores as opposed to just being online? We’ll just have to wait and see.

1. Taylor Swift – Speak Now – 276,000 - The holidays were kind to young Taylor as she moved over a quarter million units for an album that was released on October 25. I’m not sure of her total numbers are, but if there was any album capable of hitting diamond status, it’d be this one.

5. Michael Jackson – Michael – 150,000 – Mike should be gold in a few weeks. Somewhere, tears of joy stream down Joe Jackson’s face.

6. Jamie Foxx – Best Night Of My Life – 144,000 – This was actually Jamie’s highest debut ever and I’m actually surprised he sold this much. Still, I’ll give respect to him for it. He should have left the song “15 Minutes” to Mario though.

7. Eminem – Recovery – 137,000 - He. Just. Keeps. Selling. He’s now well over 3.3 million copies sold.

8. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday – 133,000 - Guess who’s creeping up on platinum? Birdman and Slim win again.

9.  Keyshia Cole – Calling All Hearts – 128,000 - Like Foxx, I’m surprised she moved this much. Especially after the lack of support she received after going with Nicki on the first single.

After a year of leveraging his social networking platforms releasing highly controversial statements from his twitter account; threatening both Kanye West and comedian Lil Duval with rape; calling himself a “pretty b*tch”; starting and ending a dispute withJoe Budden; as well as flooding his fans with wide range of his “rare” music as free downloads via Hulkshare, Lil B takes his internet social savvy and signs to the pioneering new media outfit, Amalgam Digital. Lil B The Based God will be releasing his first official digital-only solo album “Angels Exodus” onJanuary, 18th 2010 as a prelude to his forthcoming “Glass Face” album, both on Amalgam Digital, which will handle the marketing and worldwide distribution of these releases exclusively.

This is Lil B. Shout outs to Amalgam Digital, they been ahead of this for a while. We are putting out these two albums called Angels Exodus and then Glass Face. It’s  going to be historical works of art with these albums. On Angels Exodus it’s going to be real hiphop and sticking to the script. I’ll be going far outside of the boundaries and staying far away from the script too. The Glass Face album will live up to it’s name. These albums are something everyone will understand. They are the reason why I’m 10’ tall and everyone else is just 6’7’’…no diss. You know I love everybody.

Just when we thought Raz B finally put a muzzle on it, he has returned, this time confessing his love for Rihanna and taking shots at Chris Brown. This morning, Raz B dedicated numerous songs to Rihanna and said:

Chris Brown received word of this and decided to pay this mess some attention by tweeting the above statements. Question is who is wrong and who is right? Well although some are saying Chris shouldn’t have tweeted that, we must remember that Raz B did start the fire by bringing Chris into his game of four square. Sorry Raz B, but you’ve already reached the limit of players in one game.
