In 1992 MTV interviewed the late rapper Tupac Shakur to discuss a song  he was recording for the  Special Olympics called ‘A Very Special Christmas Vol 2.″ For the first time, Tupac reminisced on his Christmas as a child and the plight of Black men in the inner city.
However, Tupac faced some legal woes that year, his song was dropped from the Christmas album and the interview never aired.

Cole tells idolator.com his perspective on who released hot music this year — in particular, he looked to upstart Compton, Calif. rapper Kendrick Lamar, a raspy speed-rhymer who has alsocaught the ear of superproducer Dr. Dre. Why does Cole consider Lamar’s Overly Dedicated EP his album of the year? Simple. It reminded him that he’s not the only new star breathing fresh air into hip-hop.

Keri Hilson stirred up some controversy with her remarks about Ciara. In an interview with Power 105.1 on Wednesday, Keri was asked if she was nervous about releasing her album, No Boys Allowed.
“I would like to [sell] higher than 35k – I mean anyone would,†said Keri referring to Ciara’s CD Basic Instinct which sold 37,000 copies last week. “I saw a quote where [Ciara] said it’s not all about the numbers and I’m not really a chart reader. I don’t look at charts. It’s probably what she honestly feels,†said Keri.
Ciara took to her twitter yesterday to send a subliminal tweet against Power 105 Jock Charlamagne;
Back in october Ciara and Keri appeared together in a Ustream session, in which they deaded rumors of tension between them once and for all, following constant speculation and rumors.
“Thank you guys for supporting us. Hopefully now our fans can support each other,” said Keri, while Ciara chimed in saying: “Spread the love!”
The pair has been rumored to be embroiled in a beef for quite some time, beginning with a verse Hilson recorded on a remix to “Turnin’ Me On,” which many took as a diss to Ciara. Then, CiCi allegedly fired back with “Basic Instinct (U Got Me).”

Amber Rose has been gearing up for the launch of her sunglass boutique store “Behind Her Shades,” caught up with Wiz Khalifa while he was in LA shooting his “Black & Yellow” Remix video.  Is it just me who thinks they would make  a cute couple?  Worry not Natalie Nunn, Amber Rose tweeted “Lil Bro Wiz Khalifa He MIGHT be one of the Faces for my Store! If anybody is having a good holiday season, it’s Surf Club’s own Hit-Boy. For those still not in the know, he is the architect behind Kanye and friends newest jam, the smooth and feel good track, “Christmas In Harlem.” To keep the festive momentum moving, HB decided not to be reactive towards his newest accomplishment. Instead, being proactive was the decision.
