BlackEnterprise.com caught up with music and art connoisseur Swizz Beatz while the mega producer-come-NYU professor was taking a break between teaching classes. An avid art collector and longtime painter himself, we asked Swizz, who has fine art pieces ranging from Keith Haring to Jean-Michel Basquiat in his collection, about the beauty of investing in art, and what mistakes he often sees amateur investors make.

Ed Lover & Rapper Maino was doing some Holiday Shopping in Short Hills Mall in NJ, when a female fan named Brina not to happy with Maino not honoring her request for an autograph, decided to tweeted about it. Maino who is never one to bite his tongue, decided to address her. The look on her face is priceless!

Social Networks should never get this serious.

Parlux introduced Reb’l Fleur, the first fragrance from Rihanna, at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (France) in October. The perfume will be launched in 2011 in the US with an international roll-out following shortly.

The fragrance is an intense and daring fruity chypre, composed of sophisticated floral notes: tuberose, violet and hibiscus, -  with a splash of coconut water, – over the light and smooth base, the combination of the final notes evokes the impression of warm skin. The perfume was created by Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien of Givaudan.

The elegant bottle, which glows from within, is beautifully designed in the shape of a high heel. The bottle is adorned with silken ribbons and a golden ring on the stopper.

Nicki Minaj spoke with MTV News about the angry hating children in Hip-Hop. She is not taking the blame for the slack careers of these pigeons and believes that people should use the success of others as fuel for their own progress. – KidFury

“When you see someone else being successful and your first instinct is to tear them apart, that’s just a sign of you feeling unhappy with your achievements. But what I try to explain to people is: Whenever you feel like that — and we all feel like that sometimes, like ‘Ah, somebody’s doing it. Somebody’s popping a lot’ — use that as fuel to go hard. That’s what I did.”

3. Michael Jackson – Michael – 228,000 - I haven’t heard the album, but the word is it’s a train wreck.

5. R. Kelly – Love Letter – 154,000 - This is a win all the way around. Without nearly the amount of promo as some of his past albums, the Pied Piper still managed to release impressive first week numbers. And on top of it all, the album is pretty damn good. “How Do I Tell Her?” is a monster of a ballad.

7. Diddy-Dirty Money – Last Train To Paris – 101,000 - When Puff doesn’t attempt to rap, this is an enjoyable album. Good thing for the group though, there are more than its fair share of singles on here.

8. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday – 97,000 - Nicki still moving close to 100K a week? Impressive. This time next week she should be at 700K.

Shaq is a jack of all trades. Even with what he has to handle on the court and all the rumors which seem to have his name attached off of it, this guy can still do stuff like this and have it look completely natural.

This past Monday night, “The Big Leprechaun” – or whatever his nickname is in Beantown – lead the Boston Pops Orchestra as they performed “Sleigh Ride” and, appropriately, “We Are The Champions.”
