According to Young Money boss Mack Maine, Wayne is set to release the first single from his forthcoming Tha Carter IV LP by the end of December, simply titled “6’7″.”

“We definitely dropping it before the end of the year,” Mack revealed to MTV News. “We ready to go now; we getting it mixed.”

Lil Wayne insider DJ Scoob Doo compared the track to frenetic fan favorite “A Milli”: “Just Think A 2010 Version Of A Milli…But On [Steroids],” he tweeted.

Mack agreed with the comparison, adding, “Just make sure you all remember two words: Cory Gunz. Incredible.”

Cory Gunz, of course, is the latest addition to Young Money and the progeny of late-’90s rapper Peter Gunz. Mack hinted the young MC will appear on “6’7″.”

Over the weekend, the Associated Press published a Jay-Z interview in which he spoke on former President George Bush’s recent comments towards Kanye West.  Of course, Hov sided with ‘Ye’s 2005 declaration.

“I 100 percent agreed with the comments that he made, because again … it felt like it was being done to black people,” Jay-Z told the Associated Press. “Like all you saw on the news was black people with help signs and all this stuff, and then you have this picture of the commander in chief, who we all rely on, just flying by.”

Hurricane Katrina and the actions following it are set in stone. We all know what happened and we all know how long it took for aid to actually arrive to the Gulf Coast. That being said, Kanye may have been politically incorrect, but his thoughts are what a great majority of the country felt.

However, the comment from Bush saying it was the ‘darkest moment of his presidency’ was even more baffling. 9/11? The “war on terror?” The economy going to hell? All that took a backseat to Kanye West. Jay was obviously upset by this statement as well.

“Just the fact that he thinks that the worst thing that happened to him is Kanye saying something about him. Like, what? That alone shows you where his mind is. Are you kidding me?” Jay-Z said.

I’ll admit, I had Wiz’s “Black & Yellow” all wrong upon first listening a few months back. It wasn’t until the video emerged that I truly appreciate the track. Since then, however, the track has taken on a life of its own.

Granted, it’s not “A Milli,” but I lost count on the amount of artists who have freestyled or “remixed” it weeks ago. However, The Los Angeles Leakers let go of their official seven minute remake featuring Snoop, Kendrick Lamar, Game, YG and Joe Moses. I’d label this a “Miami Heat diss,” but that’d just be another case of the Internet starting rumors.
