A small prayer of mine has been answered, maybe. Lloyd Banks’ numbers from his new album Hunger For More 2 have been less than expected, but that’s not to say he didn’t have his fair share of quality records. One of the standouts and most single-ready was his collaboration with Jeremih on the smooth yet regretful “I Don’t Deserve” being one of them.
The duo performed the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC which hopefully means a push for the song is soon to follow.Read More
To say Brick Squad is going through some things at the current moment would be putting it lightly. Gucci Mane is looking at a year and half behind bars stemming from an arrest last year and arguably the label’s biggest name at the moment – Waka Flocka – turned himself in January 3 after a raid of his house on December 16.
Nearly 48 hours later, Flocka is a free man on $40,000 bail facing charges ranging from marijuana and hydrocone possession to possession of a fire arms by a felon. Waka’s lawyer as well as mother/manager Debra Antey already have a defense for the charges saying the guns found in the house were not illegal, rather they belonged to security guards. Lastly, according to Mama Deb, the raid was blown completely out of proportion by the media.
“You put this big thing out there and start scaring sponsors,” Antney told AllHipHop.com. “It was two officers there that let us know and that s**t was bulls**t!”
Rapper T.I. got in some serious trouble with prison officials this weekend — after guards caught him getting “frisky” with his wife during visiting hours … TMZ has learned.
T.I.’s wife Tiny confirms … the two were in a room together during regular visiting hours at Arkansas State Prison when Tiny made like Michael Jackson … and beat it.
According to prison guidelines, inmates are allowed to kiss and embrace at the beginning and at the end of a visit as well as hold hands — but “the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times.”
Tiny tells them T.I. was immediately reprimanded and sent to a “Special Housing Unit” — which consists of more security and less freedom.
Tiny says she hasn’t spoken to T.I. since the incident — but she’s hopeful she’ll be allowed to visit again soon … as long as she keeps her hand to herself.Read More
