Keri Hilson is back with her latest video for the track, “The Way You Love Me.” The song features Maybach Music’s CEO Rick Ross and the video features a very strange  washed up  cast, including R&B singer Faith Evans, Jojo, actor Columbus Short and Dawn Richards from Diddy’s Dirty Money crew. You can find Keri’s new song on her upcoming album, No Boys Allowed, which is in stores December 21st. Someone get Chase on the phone!

Nelly’s new album Nelly 5.0 was released on November 12. Perhaps you know this, but you probably don’t. The promotion for the album has been lackluster to say the least, with the label allegedly only shipping 200,000 copies. The part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats took to Twitter to speak his mind.

A record deal is a 50/50 partnership! As a artist its your job to provide the record company with music that they(record company)can sell! Thing about the partnership is that n the public eye the responsibility is not 50/50!the artist is always the 1who catches 90% of the blame. When a artist doesn’t deliver sufficient material they(artist)gets its budget cut for next album or worse dropped from the label!

So not only is the label ur partner but also disciplinarian and 90% of the time the one who decides if the partnership continues! Nodoubt wen a artist doesn’t deliver a song that does crack top of the charts or even top10 the label is quick to say artist didn’t deliver. So intern the artist must bare the brunt of that failure and take responsibility and consequences as handed out by his or her label!!

So who fault is it when a artist gives the label not only a #1 hit but there first top40 #1 n label history!sell 2mill n singles n 2.5month. Who should be held responsible wen a artist has a history for selling records so its not like a new artist n no1 knows his r her name? Benefit of the doubt: Maybe no1 wants to hear music from that artist?well if that was true then the artist would not have a #1 song! Benefit of the doubt:Maybe no1is checking 4 the artist anymore?Well if that was true then how do u explain selling 2mill singles n 2.5month?

I careless about haters u cant hate on #1song n 2.5mill n singles!but the fact is that some1 need to holdup there end of the partnership! If the music wasn’t good how do u get to #1 and 2.5mill!!but if folks say they didn’t even no wen the album came out????? If u only ship 200thound of an album how many are u f#cking tryen to sell??the artist does control that nor does he or she control marketing. “”5.0″”Every1 luvs da album n say its crazy! So wen u hear folks say they didnt no it was out r there were hardly any n the store!WTF?

By now we’ve all see LeBron James’ controversial “What Should I Do?” commercial pondering whether he should follow his own dreams or live by someone else’s perception of him. A few years ago, Michael Jordan had a similar Nike commercial had explaining all of his accolades came from his own hard work and desire to be the game’s most iconic player. LeBron has been catching flack – both deserved and undeserved – since he announced he would be taking his talents to the 305 on July 8, 2010. The above clip is a dope mashup, even if it isn’t exactly “authentic.” Essentially, it features Jordan speaking to LeBron saying the time is now and the excuses have to be left in the past.

The Dipset stan in me wishes I could have atteneded the Hammerstein Ballroom last night for their “reunion concert.” I have accepted the old days will never be resurrected, but seeing them perform their old stuff together would have been a win in my eyes. For example, take their performance of one of the group’s greatest records ever, “I’m Ready.” All they needed to do was follow up with “I Really Mean It” and the entire building may have exploded.

Things weren’t all well and good for Kanye as he participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Some people obviously haven’t forgiven him for the Taylor Swift incident and met Kanye with a sea of boos and “Taylor” chants.

Let this man live. Taylor just did a milli in a week. You think she’s still tripping?

Describing Luther Campbell – better known as Uncle Luke from 2 Live Crew – as an admirable citizen may be a stretch for those who still associate him with his group’s explicit image or Supreme Court rebels. Yet,  Campbell has put that occupation to the back burner for one more inspiring. He is now an assistant football coach at Miami Central High School.

Campbell has traded his raunchy image for the assistant coaching position, where he coaches boys, both on and off the field.

“I’m happy and proud of what we accomplished but that part of my life is over,” Luke Campbell told the Bellingham Herald. “The entertainer – I left him on stage.”

In his role as an assistant coach at Miami Central, Luke stresses the need for teamwork, education and maintaining a positive attitude.

“I don’t tolerate cursing or the N-word,” Luke continued. “I tell them, ‘Don’t ever disrespect a girl because that makes you less than a man.’ And ‘Pick the girl who is responsible, not the one with Fs on her report card. Easy to get in, hard to get out. I’ve lived that life.’”

After being allowed to coach following several letters of support from area parents, community leaders, etc., “Uncle Luke” is already leave positive impacts on his players’ lives. Eighteen year old wide receiver C.J. Gaines stated stated he doesn’t view his coach as “a rapper,” but better yet as “a father.”

Last night Nicki Minaj held an amazing concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The Harajuku Barbie brought out an arsenal of big hip hop acts, including Busta Rhymes, Kanye West and Drake, but the moment between Drizzy and Nicki is what has folks talking. While on stage with his label-mate, Drake grabbed Miss Minaj and the two shared quite the kiss in front of the audience. Was the kiss done just to get people talking, or is there relationship more than just friends? Only time will tell.
