Expect a heavy dose of autotune for 2011. T-Pain isn’t just going to roll over and quit music, regardless if you want him to or not. “Rap Song” with Rick Ross is gaining steam, and given his past track record, it could potentially be a hit in the coming weeks. In the meantime, however, Pain borrows Wiz’s anthem and Waka’s latest club regular for his own leisure.

Off first listen, “No Hands” sounds more of his speed.

Update: It looks like the new Power 105 morning crew will include Angela Yee (Sirus XM/ Shade 45), DJ Envy, and Charlamagne Tha God. Ed Lover took to his Twitter to congratulate the trio and give them props.

No word on what Ed Lover’s next move is.

A major change to NY radio went down and it involves legendary Hip-Hop personality Ed Lover.

WWPR/Power 105.1 has fired its veteran morning man Ed Lover, along with show producer Sarah O’Connor. Lover had been with the Hip-Hop station since its inception in 2002. Originally, he was part of the morning team that featured Doctor Dre and Lisa G. (moved from rival WQHT/Hot 97). The show eventually was switched to afternoon drive.

Lover returned to the station in 2006 after Star and Buc Wild’s departure.

After weeks of playing it cool and saying that “Roman’s Revenge” was not aimed towards Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj sat down with Hot 97′s Angie Martinez to clear the air. Nick spoke with Angie about everything surrounding her career and even took questions from a studio audience.

She opened up on how attending an art school influenced her career, her trip to Trinidad and how she handled Lil Wayne’s absence. From there, the question of the hour came up (“Are you getting at Lil Kim?”) and Nicki kept it politically correct by saying, “It’s not directed toward anyone. Just all those that talked about me.” That quickly turned into, “My Barbies know exactly who that’s about. If you’ve never done or said anything, you wouldn’t feel guilty!” And from there, it really got things really got hectic.

“When I see your name on Billboard, then I’ll respond to you. If you are bitter, get a life! You’re gonna go down in history as a sore loser instead of the Queen. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Don’t play with me. When I see it on the Billboard, that’s when I’ll respond.”
