Lil Wayne’s Carter IV is in heavy contention with Kanye West’s Good Ass Job for most anticipated. The bad news: Weezy fans have to wait until the enigmatic rap star’s November prison release to experience the Carter series’ fourth installment. The good news: “I’m putting out a [Wayne] album called I’m Not A Human Being and I’ll probably drop it on his birthday, September 27,” says Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne’s co-manager and Young Money CEO.

According to Bryant, the album will be an EP of all new Wayne material to serve as theCarter IV prelude. Fans are also warned not to expect any marketing and promotion bells and whistles.

“We not about to roll out no three month set up,” says Bryant. “I’m not even putting it out in stores. We just gonna put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas. Give ‘em a hard copy later for fan appreciation.”

For Weezy fanatics, looks like Christmas is coming early this year. —Bonsu Thompson of Vibe.com

Yesterday, Curren$y stopped by the XXL offices in promotion for his new album Pilot Talk. While there, the conversation shifted towards his feelings on skateboarder-turnt-rapper-turnt-reality TV star Terry Kennedy and the name he (Curren$y) essentially created, Fly Society.

Spitta introduced TK to the Fly Society world believing he would be a valuable in both music and clothing. For personal reasons, the pairing did not produce the results they originally intended and would soon cut ties with one another. Unknown to Curren$y at the time, however, Kennedy had the Fly Society logo and name copyrighted.

TK decides to move forward with the company even securing a clothing deal last week. The skaterboarder, who has collaborated with Supra & KR3W in the past, looks to unveil Fly Society’s own line of t-shirts moving into sweaters, jeans, etc. in the near future. He is also preparing for the airing of his B.E.T. reality series “The Kennedys” this fall.

Regarding the rift, Spitta had this to say.

He was apart of a highly successful tour with Wiz Khalifa. And look who he was recently in the studio with. Word recently got out that pride and joy of Alabama found himself in the lab with Gucci Mane and here is visual proof.

Yela’s debut album Trunk Muzik: 0-60 does not yet have a release date. But,  Yelawolf  recently shot the first single two weeks ago in LA. More pics after the jump.

Had it not been for LeBron and the sudden speculation that he’ll be a New Yorker by tomorrow night, this posse cut might have been the biggest thing to hit the Big Apple today. In all honesty, I’m still not a big fan of “Don’t Stop The Party,” but it’s always been hard not to like Busta mainly because the dude has the craziest live show of any rapper right now. Or so I’ve heard and seen on TV.

I’m not sure if he was attempting to recreate “Touch It” by bringing in a group of his musical colleagues, but here’s the skinny.
