Ross isn’t the only one gearing up for a huge summer release. The
The last time these two (along with Weezy) created the sequel to Ricky’s “Maybach Music.” For Ross’ fourth album Teflon Don, however, he and Kanye West decided to paint a picture of success and the value of living for the moment. “Live Fast, Die Young” is a five minute lyrical free-for-all. Ross starts it off with a respectable verse only to be completely shadowed by Kanye’s marathon verse. Being away for so long, hearing ‘Ye rap for what felt like forever reminds the public of how much his presence was truly missed.
Not to be outdone, Rozay follows it up with an impressive second verse. This’ll be the last leak I listen to from the album, which hit stores July 20. In case you haven’t seen the tracklist and the party bus full of guests he’s bringing along with him, hit the jump.
Check out Big Boi‘s latest release from his forthcoming project Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. The album is in stores and online Tuesday.
J. Cole sat down with Jenny Boom Boom in the BET Awards Radio Room over the weekend to discuss his album, and shared that he’d be dropping his yet-to-be-titled debut on (or before) October 26th. The anticipation buzzing around this release is major, so I’m sure that J. will be pushing for it to be released as soon as possible.
Props to herfection

Mickey Factz is hard at work on his forthcoming mixtape “I’m Better Than You.” The latest leaked material is a freestyle over Drake‘s “Light Up” beat.
By now, Chris Brown’s performance at the BET Awards last Sunday has been talked about, analyzed and dissected by everyone somewhat associated with pop culture. It was one of those moments that when his career ultimately comes to a close and a documentary is shot on his life, his Michael Jackson tribute will be known as one of those “career making” moments. One time worldwide pop star shunned by a domestic violence mistake only to return to glory in an emotional performance on a big stage? Yeah, that script couldn’t have been written any better.
Personally, I believed the performance was authentic. Turns out, Lloyd did too. The singer, who has been friends with Brown for years, said he spoke to the embattled R&B artist weeks before the awards show. He told Chris to win the acceptance of the mainstream public back, he’d have to “let that emotion out.” Lloyd recently caught up with AllHipHop to give an official statement on the matter.
