Kanye West hasn’t graced an award show stage since his fateful Taylor Swift incident at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, but he’s finally ready to make his return to live award events. The Chicago emcee has been tapped to perform at the 2010 BET Awards — his first award show appearance since September 2009 and first TV performance since he joinedRihanna and Jay-Z on ‘The Jay Leno Show’ the day after the VMA’s.

The BET Awards, slated to air live on the network on June 27 at 8PM, are set to be hosted by Queen Latifah, with Ludacris, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and Drake among those recently added to the list of performers. Previously announced performers include Janet Jackson, Diddy-Dirty Money, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz and T.I., who will perform for the first time at an award show since getting out of jail.

I just feel lil Kim is a G in the game, you’re part of era in the game..you know what I’m saying.. I just feel like your part of an era that’s classic, that we’ll never forget as young kids me and Nick..so you don’t have to do that, you don’t have to get on stage and announce your presence. or tell people to pay homage. That’s a given, I watched Nicki pay homage to her time and time again. I just didn’t respect it at all whoever else was on stage with her. Your just wearing your heart on your sleeve. - Drake

The first one received such a warm reaction that they had to do another. YM’s own Gudda Gudda takes you back to where it all started for Back 2 Guddaville accompanied by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar.

Gudda has been establishing his own identity with the YM co-sign. Throughout the trip, you’ll find guest features from Vado, Jay Rock, Killa Kyleon, Waka Flocka and the usual appearances from fellow label mates Mack Maine, Jae Millz, Short Dawg and Lil Wayne.  Also be on the look out for the “I Don’t Like The Look Of It” video featuring Weezy set to drop soon.

Enough talking, more music. Tracklist and link after the jump.

If you’re in the area tomorrow, be sure to check out Styles P at S.O.B.’s tomorrow night in celebration of his new book Invincible. I’ll give the utmost respect to P for doing something like this for a variety of reasons – the most important being the promotion of literacy in a genre where people think ignorance overshadows education. In some cases, it does, I guess.

Anyway, from recording with Biggie to dropping classic posse cuts to one hell of a debut album, P’s been around the block in Hip-Hop for well over a decade now. Show your support.

It’s hard to trust a Black woman [sometimes] because a lot of Black women’s mind frame is that the man gotta do everything for her⎯ he gotta pay for this, he gotta pay for that, and if it ain’t about money then a lot of them ain’t fucking with him. If that’s what you’re here for then I don’t want to be with you. Most single Black women feel like they don’t want to settle for less. Their standards are too high right now. They have to understand that successful Black men are kind of extinct. We’re important. It’s hard to find us so Black women have to bow down and let it be known that they gotta start working hard; they gotta start cooking and being down for they man more. They can’t just be running around with their head up in the air and passing all of us.

My girl is Black and White. I guess the half White in her is where she still cooks and do all the shit that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy ass shit. And she’s a smart girl too. She graduated from Columbia [University] and I like that about her so it’s cool. I’ve dated girls that will buy a $3,000 bag and don’t know how to pay it off on their credit cards. They walk around in these Louis Vuittons and red bottoms but they’re riding around in raggedy cars, so it’s just getting your priorities right.

Less than a month away from Big Boi’s solo project, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, and ‘Twan’s old fling is trying to prohibit good music from being heard. Fret not, strings are being pulled, so hopefully we will finally be able to see the reunion of Big Boi and Andre on wax on July 6.

Regardless, if he makes it on the album or not, Three Stacks will still get producing credit as he was the architect behind the Yelawolf assisted “You Ain’t No DJ.” After the jump, feel free to take a look at the entire tracklist. It’s almost that time, folks.
