Welcome to 2013, the flying car is called the Terrafugia, and is the first of its kind to defeat the laws of, well, car flying gravity! In recent fashion fix news, the newly emerged line “Audacity Republic” has been well underway releasing their new 2013 ”Kings & Queens” collection. The lifestyle fashion line has been manifested behind the brand of “Kings & Queens who control their own destiny”. Embracing the edge of urban culture, Audacity Republic’s creative director Tammy Pusher has released both a men’s and women’s line, that both pay homage to prominent figures in culture. Featuring men’s t-shirts embedded with phrases such as “Control Your Own Destiny” and “King of All Masters” (available in gold, black and white) down to their women’s T-Shirt collection which merges the essence of African-American beauty, paying respect to Dorothy Dandridge through their Marilyn Monroe collaboration. Rapper, Grammy award winner and Hip Hop icon Lil Wayne is gearing up to hit the road soon, and may be stopping by a city near you. Quickly after being released from the hospital (in which Wayne is in great health), the YMCMB mogul is ready to headline and will be touring North America on his “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival 2013″. Lil Wayne’s press team confirms the tour to be a “high voltage, eye-popping live show”. America’s Most Watned, sponsored by Wayne’s great friends at Mountain Dew will also feature headline 2 of the biggest rappers today, T.I. and Future. After stopping by “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Kendrick Lamar headlined not one, but two sold out back-to-back concerts at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. According to WWD, Rihanna has partnered with Mac Cosmetics as not just a “collaborator” but a “creative partner” as she inks a deal for her new campaign, RiRi [Hearts] MAC collections, which will land in stores this year. The first product, her signature lipstick, will launch May 4 to coincide with her Diamonds Tour concerts at the Barclays Center, where MAC will also open a pop-up shop. A summer collection will be sold online, while the fall collection will land in stores, and the holiday collection will, naturally, also be sold in stores.
